I heard that once they get back to the birth weight and above then you can just feed on demand. But my OB said to just feed in demand. I’d probably ask your pediatrician.

My son was the same way. They kept us an extra day in the hospital cause he was sleeping through the night, and not waiting up every few hours to eat.

I’d talk to your doctor. You can look online. With him I let him sleep and fed him when he woke up. He was born 9lbs 2oz and was back to that in no time. Every kid is different. But personally In my case I thought if he was hungry he would let me know.

Has she reached her birth weight? My daughter’s doctor said to wake them until they get back to their birth weight.

She was jaundiced right? I personally wouldn’t let her go more than 4 hours because her levels can easily rise back up if she’s not eating enough.

If her jaundice isn't a worry and she has reached her birth weight I think she's good to eat when she's hungry.. otherwise I wouldn't let her go more than 3-4hrs.. I had to keep on my girl for a few weeks not letting her go more than 2-3hrs and I finally got the okay to let her feed on demand on Halloween 🙌 and she can go up to 6hrs at night.. right now feeding on demand we are about 2-3hrs during the day and between 4-5hrs at night 😁 good luck momma! ❤
