If I opt out of vaccinations how does that affect school registration down the line? *side note I DO NOT want personal opinions on vaccinating my child just the school related effects of not doing so IF i decide against it.
Religious or Medical Exemption. In the state of Alabama you are allowed to attend school unvaccinated with an exemption. Look up National Vaccine Information Center
Like others said, it really depends on the state and the school. Homeschool might be best? I just know my son's daycare didn't allow unvaccinated kids. Looks like Alabama only allows unvaccinated kids into public schools if there are medical or religious reasons... Not philosophical reasons though (personal belief).
Depends on the state, but some are changing their laws and not allowing unvaccinated children to attend public schools unless the child has a medical exemption.
Around here you cannot enroll children who aren’t vaccinated into public school. I would check with the schools in your area
Www.nvic.org there's also a Facebook group called Alabama for Vaccine freedom or something. I'm in it as well and the most trouble you will have will most likely be from dr. They can tell you how to get an exemption. If its against your religion you can state that on a letter as to why you are exempting or opting out and get it notarized.
