I’ve gotten it every pregnancy and made anyone in my household as well as contact to my children get it. I had a friend whose baby passed away from whooping cough and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. 😞

I just got mine yesterday because I’d rather not have the risk. I also have a lot of family that come in and out of the country so I’d rather be extra careful. Hurts though lol

I got it to protect my child from very dangerous diseases before he can be vaccinated himself. Choice was clear to me. Why are you unsure about it?

This is my first pregnancy so it’s all new to me. But I’m definitely going to talk to the dr about it. My nurses mention it like it’s no big deal if I get it or not. They only mention it once or twice to me

Doesn't mean its not a big deal. They can't force it on you. If you don't get it your baby is at risk for months until they are old enough to have it.
You do it while pregnant, your body passes that protection to your child. Children cam die from whooping cough. It is a very big deal.

I got it with every pregnancy cause it protects both mom and baby, even after baby arrives.

I got it. Wanted to protect my girl from whooping cough which has been going around surrounding counties.

I do not receive vaccines when pregnant. They have not been tested on pregnant women.

Call your county health department and ask how many cases of whooping cough are in your area. I was surprised to hear that there were several cases in the small village where I live. No way was I risking my newborn becoming very ill or even being fatal for her. I got the shot!
