For moms who got their babies used to the pacifier, got any tips for me? My older two didn’t want it, and i want to get this baby used to it.
Try different kinds but my baby ONLY like the nuk ones that the hospital has if you don't have one. She wouldn't take any other one. And pacificiers help prevent SIDS and ear infections for those moms so against it. They are helpful. And it not always hard to ween your child off it in. My daughter just stopped using hers on her own about a month ago. She got tired of it i guess and starting biting it til it tore then she threw it away lol
Try different kinds some babies like different kinds I bought a couple different brands and wine I found out which one he loved the most I bought a lot of those. And it’s also hard for them keep it in for a while at least with my son. And my daughter. I gave up super fast with my daughter but now it puts my son to sleep without being on the boob. But at about a year he will no longer have one
Thanks each and all of you ladies 🤗
In my experience, either they like it or they don't. I'm so sick of moms bashing pacifiers though and bragging about not using them. PACIFIERS PREVENT SIDS so no I don't commend you for not using them lmao.
I don’t think there’s really anything you can do but offer it and see what baby does. My daughter took one here and there but then at 5 months started sucking on 2 fingers and continued to do that until we weaned her when she was 3. She has an overbite because of it. My son has absolutely refused pacifiers from the beginning. We tried all the different kinds. He just wants mommy. When he’s with the sitter he sucks on his thumb (sooo cute).
My daughter took one right away to calm her down. We took her off of it when she was 3. My son never took one at all and just used me as a pacifier
We use mam brand it’s the only bottle/paci my son will take. He’s not huge on his paci so fingers crossed it’s not terrible to wean him when the time comes. But it did help in the beginning .
I tried giving my son a pacifier when he was awake and it never worked he only ever took it after he fell asleep.
Can I ask why you want to use one.? They gave my daughter one in th2r nicu (against my wishes) and trying to take her off of it was hell.!
I just offered it. He wanted to use me as a pacifier so I figured maybe he'd take one. He ended up self weaning at like 4 months from it.

Diapers arent a gift for baby?
My sister is coming down today to hang out with me and baby. She wanted to bring him some gifts. She got him an outfit, 2 toys, and a pair of shoes/booties. She said she wanted to get a little bit more and asked if there was anything else she could get as a gift for him and I said he can always use diapers. Her reply was that Diapers aren't a baby gift, they would be a gift for us and while she'll happily pick us up a pack she wants to get him something he needs a...

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
Why? Why do you want to get your baby addicted to sucking on a piece of plastic? A habit youll have to break them of down the road.
