Hey guys so trying to plan on for my Son’s First Birthday. I have a theme Pokémon (we’re nerds) going to make a Pokémon ball smash cake. But, question what should I do to keep everyone entertained? Food cake than what? Kinda lost here.. :(. What did you guys do? Thanks 😻😻

It depends on what time of day you’re hosting it.
If it’s after breakfast but before noon then just finger foods. If it’s at noon then expect to serve more food as people will be expecting to eat since it’s lunch time. Same with between lunch and dinner.
Just do a small themed smash cake and then cupcakes or a dessert table for your guests. It will be less expensive and easier to serve.
Search “pokemon birthday party” on Pinterest to get some ideas.
For all my parties I always just order party platters from subway. It comes with multiple sandwich options that people can just grab and go. It’s simple, and pretty inexpensive.
You should put pokemon stickers on Christmas balls and whoever finds pikachu or something gets a cook price..... where did u get that blanket? I love it
You don’t have to feel obligated to entertain your guests when it’s really bringing them together to celebrate a one year old but maybe some Pokémon trivia(?) or mix and match with evolved versions? I’m sure there are plenty of ideas online.
