Hmm, I think she would have eventually. They were both going through problems of their own when they first got together so it seems to me that she just wanted to be with someone? Plus, there were times when Pete has joked about things that could've been considered sensitive to her (like her getting sexually harassed, the bombings that happened in her concert, etc). He also talked way too much into their sex life and it was quite gross... Overall, he seems immature so I think it was bound to happen.

I think she would have also ... obviously Mac passing away played a big role but also Pete did not respect her even half as much as Mac did and therefore it would’ve been over because of the disrespectful manner in which he portrays their relationship
