Need some advice... Well 1 has any of you had difficulty with trying to stop breastfeeding and start baby on formula??? My daughter is 3 months and has been breastfeeding since birth. I'm trying to switch her to formula and no success at all. Any advice??? Could it be the taste? Or bottle???... Another question I heard it's normal for breastfed babies to have mucus in third poop is that true???. Thx in advance!

Have you tried mixing breast milk with the formula. It might be the texture or the taste.

then overtime add less and less breastmilk until it’s only formula

Have you tried Similac for breastfed babies? It's the closest taste to breast milk... Also- the bottle Latch is amazing bc it's made to feel like a breast.

What kind of Similac? I tried the regular blue one and she will drinks bit but that's it

I give my 4 month old similac sensitive she seems to do well with it. She is also a very gassy baby and will get gassy and upset if i use any other bottle than dr browns. We tried tom tippie, como tomo and avent but she sucked in to much air so we switch to dr browns and she did just fine. She was ebf until 2 months. Then my 8 year old was diagnosed with cancer so i was away for a week. . we gave breast milk in a bottle and slowly started mixing the 2 together until she was fully on Formula.

I tried the sensitive sim to her and nope she didn't even want to drink at all😥. And I am so so sorry about your 8yr old💔💔😭 💔 prayers for you and your family ❤️
