C section mums. I’m 8 weeks pp and my belly has gone down loads but still very spongy and flabby which I expected. But my thighs are huge. I bought some jeans a size above mine to wear and they fit my legs look ridiculous. Is this weight Iv put on or will it still be swelling and water retention? It’s proper depressing me cus I’m thinking I’ll be huge and won’t go and I’ll need a whole new wardrobe which I can’t afford and I go on holiday in 7 months 😢
I had my 8 weeks check up yesterday she said my scar was healing nicely and felt my belly and said I’m healing great but didn’t say anything about exercise and I forgot to ask. But I wouldn’t be able to anyway yet I don’t think even when I walk a fair bit my scar really is sore x
My youngest is 8 months, and I still have soreness once in a while. And it felt kind of numb for a long time. That’s completely normal, don’t worry.
Just listen to your body and don’t get stressed, things will get better!
@abrikosa, my belly doesn’t feel numb but it feels very strange at the bottom. Sometimes hurts more there than the actual scar x
My belly is so out of shape it’s very weird and my belly button just looks like a huge hole aswell.. is that normal?
I never expected a section so was hoping my belly would go down and I’d be exercising by now but I’m still rather sore so all I can do is walk. I walk everywhere with pram when I can but it also doesn’t help that my little girl only wants to sleep on me through day which means I’m just grabbing anything for dinner so not always healthy x
You should definitely not exercise before you see the doctor (at least that’s what they say in Denmark, where I had my babies), because your stomach muscles can be stretched to much (Diastasis is quite common after pregnancies), and starting exercising too early, it might get worse.
You will also be able to build a more regular routine with your baby within couple of weeks, so it will be easy to eat better and healthier.
Just try to relax and enjoy this magical time!
If you want to do something, just suck in your stomach a few times per day, but not to much!
I had 2 c-sections, and things were getting better within 6 months after each of them, so you should be good for your vacation. Don’t get upset, your body went through so much, it needs time to come back to normal.
Just try to walk a lot, and relax as much as you can ☺️
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Try drink plenty of water if you think it's water rentetion. Took me about 6 weeks for everything to go down, but nothing was ever back to normal. (Belly looks weird 😂) They say 3 months pp and you can go back to light workouts, ask a pt to help with workouts that you can do they helped me loads. But don't rush yourself take it easy 😊 xx
