I got so used to my baby girl sleeping right after the bath and staying asleep till about 6am. Don’t want any regressions and getting up every two hours. Is that possible to avoid?
We have a routine but certain things throw him off such as teething or ,like the last couple nights, he has been constipated so he hasnt been sleeping straight through. But he hasn't had any sleep regressions just issues that can be taken care of.
Agreed - the routine is key! Ours regressed only very little around a few growth spurts, but otherwise settled into an all night sleeping routine very well.
And that picture of your girl is ADORABLE! How sweet!😍
Thank you 😍 I couldn’t resist taking that picture, she was pretty content after the bath and did not mind mama with her phone 🙈
I had a routine and never held or rocked my babies to sleep. Never even slept in the same bed. Luckily sleep regression never effect any of my babies, only teething did at night
@erikak, with the bed time at 7ish, when does he get up in the morning? 4am? We have the bed time at 9pm, works fine so far.
@maria_lizzie he gets up at 6:30ish. I've tried putting him to bed earlier and later and his wake up time doesn't change. But all babies are different. He still wakes up to feed 2-3 times during the night, and depending on what his favourite sound is at the time (screaming vs making bubbles), I am usually able to let him just hang out until 7 and then get up with him.
Thanks! Sure hope it will stay that way because I try to keep the routine constant with some deviations as to the time... We will be traveling during Christmas though but I guess we should try and stick to the same routine in the hotels too.
If she already has developed a routine it will stay that way unless you break it. Our daughter has slept through out the night 10pm to 7am since she was 4 month's old and she is almost 16 month's old this month and still sleeps all night and still takes a 2 hour nap with me in the day time.
Wow she is soooo pretty ❤️
