So we still haven't told anyone about me being pregnant. I currently live with my dad and step mom, my mom lives in Michigan. My SO lives in his own place, but his lawyer and counselor currently advise against me moving in because there is a custody battle still being settled, and me moving in could negatively affect my SO. I got pregnant the first month we were together, so I feel like my parents will be highly disappointed, and more than likely throw me out. What would you mommas do? How would you announce It? Should I wait a couple more weeks?

Why would they kick you out for getting pregnant? That wouldn't solve anything.

@leahkay there already wasn't enough room for myself and my son, they had to build 2 small rooms down in the basement for us. He also told me before I moved back in that if I got pregnant I was out. I never intended on ever getting pregnant again until I was married, but somehow my iud completely moved from where it was supposed to be.

Start looking for other housing options I guess. I have no idea what your family dynamics are, but if your dad said you were out if you got pregnant, expect that once he finds out you'll need to find other housing.
I don't know what I'd do. I wouldn't announce until I had an alternate plan on place. Friends, mom's, SO, my own place...
Sounds like a mess.

@mhbb3 I wish I could work more, they just hired a new person in my department, so hours will definitely be plummeting. Sooo hoping a Full time position goes up soon!
