Hi mommas, do new mommas need to buy both an infant crib and a craddle? They are very expensive. Not sure if getting only one works. Thanks😊😊
If I could go back I would have just got a crib. I had a bassinet. It was great, don’t get me wrong, but a crib would have done the job.
A bassinet isn't absolutely necessary. Our kiddos slept in them for 6 weeks but never really slept well in them. They both have seemed to prefer the crib. A pack and play would be a better investment than a bassinet since you'll get more use out of it.
A bassinet is nice to have when they are a newborn (they feel warm & snug) a crib is great for when they are older. I have both & find they are both very useful.
Can the baby sleep in a bassinet? Up to how old before having to switch to a crib? Thanks😊😊
@flmom, my baby girl is six months and still in the bassinet in our room. I moved my older one into the crib when she was about seven or eight months.
Any mommas due in March?💕
