Does it matter what size pacifier your baby use ? For example i have a ton of new avent soothie 0-3…

Hers are the ones that look like a bottle nipple. And are big and round so she cant put the whole thing in her mouth. that's the part you need to worry about if it's too small that it will be sucked into the babies mouth as they could choke

They make the plastic thicker as the baby grows bec their bite gets stronger it’s a safety thing..... if you don’t want to do it right now just check them frequently to make sure there’s no rips in the plastic

Mind uses his from birth n some of the ones for his age

Ive heard it can be a choking hazard. It probably won't be a big deal at 4 months but when they get bigger the smaller pacifiers can fit entirely in thier mouth. Its best to move to thier age appropriate paci

Mine used 0-3 at 10months🤷‍♀️ I bought the 3-6 months one around 5 months he refused them so went back to the 0-3 months

You should always go up in size! Not only is it a choking hazard to use smaller ones, it’s also bad for their teeth/bite. They need to go up as their mouth gets bigger so it fits the shape as they grow.

Definitely go up in size. Otherwise it can be dangerous.
