How do you balance career aspirations and children? Any encouraging stories? I love my babies, but at the same time I enjoy having a career as well. 😊
🤷🏻♀️career.. a lot of people question your choice to be at home mum. They say “don’t you have a career ambition or something?”. Of course I do. I have lots of ambition. However, I simply haven’t found what’s my career is. I had a career and for some time i really enjoyed it. But even before maternity leave I started to have second thought. CAREER CHOICE HELP
How did you know what you wanted to actually go to college for? I'm having trouble deciding on a career path. I want to go back to school in January but I can't decide on a career. But I don't want to waste anymore time by waiting around for me to figure it out. I want to get started. But I will be started with gen Ed classes at least to get those out of the way, but that time will fly by.
i need my career already so i can have another baby 😂

I will be 41 :/
Wellllll Since no one is answered you, and I'm new on here I will stick my neck out and speak lol. I have 2 kids, 10 and 6. Since the six-year-old was born I have been a distributor for young living EO, I think being an independent distributor gives you more freedom with your scheduling so you don't feel so tied down to your desk or clients. There's a lot of work up front but you make time for it. It was harder when the kids got older actually because they were louder lol. I'm also going to school for massage therapy So when I have clients come over my Room is in the basement and I need quiet so I banish the children to the top floor and make them watch a movie. Or I schedule when they are at school if I can. The point is, if you want something, you make it happen. Everyone's life situation is so different and what works for me may not work for you. But in general I have found scheduling the detail work and things you have to really pay close attention to, schedule of that around children's quiet times ,or times they are away or sleeping. As ages change your plan changes.
I consider the customer contacting i do , or oily 101 classes, for my oils part of "me" time because I enjoy it. My husband may not love the fact that I don't sit down and hang out with him at 8 o'clock at night and watch TV but that's not my thing. If he fusses too much about neglect I just give him a massage lol
