I see too many people on here who are complaining that they can’t afford to buy their current 4 children new clothes or shoes...and then their next post is how they’re trying for baby no. 5 🤔🤔🤔
Tiny humans are expensive and it’s not just when they are babies. I think some people well we have this hand me down from big siblings or friend, but I think many people forget long term college , car ,( god forbid medical) . I think people forget about the big pic items that are thousands
I have an aunt who solely lives off the state and is trying for #3 . She has a bachelors degree , has had multiple job offers , and says no to every single one cause she “won’t get as much as the state gives her “ that’s so crazy . I could never imagine living off the stare like that
Taking care of children are very expensive especially when you have more than 1 child. It's sad to say alot of people are content with living off welfare and I'm not knocking anyone who had welfare but it's a difference from receiving help till you are financially stable than just living off of the government I think that's disgusting and sad. I've had plenty of ex friends who use to and still are living off of the government and can get any job they want but because they are afraid if losing a certain amount they rather stay without a job and collect from the welfare. Again I'm not knocking those who are on it I'm knocking those who rather stay on it than be a career woman and man for their children
@briannalynn547, well if he gets out of it yes its cheap not even if u would of paid 500$ dollard if he gets out of it its cheap
he moves the clip up and down. Doesn’t get out of it . That doesn’t make the seat cheap. Just makes my child strong . Other people’s children do it all the time . They’re normally just older than mine . So that’s incorrect .
This is so true !!!!! I believe if you need it you need it, crap happens but to be lazy and live off the system just gets under my skin
@briannalynn547, it won’t let me comment up in the thread but , I asked what he did once he works at a burger joint she also lives with her mom grandma and brother 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
This is true. I know a girl from this app who had 5 or 6 kids and got pregnant again, reached out for help because her husband wouldn’t work. She ended up losing all her kids. I was blessed to have assistance like food stamps and my dad to help me till I found a job, and now I’m working.
Smh 🤦🏻♀️ poor baby’s . That makes me so angry. At the end of the day the kids suffer . I worked my whole life until recently . My man said I dont need to he’s got it . But we’re on no assistance , used to have Wic but not anymore and if times got hard guess who’d be filling out those applications 😂 me girl !! But good for you that you bossed up and got it together 💪🏼💪🏼
we don’t even have food stamps anymore! But my ass works hard for me and mine!
In my opinion sometimes shit happens. My sister worked her ass off everyday of her life since the age you can start working. She was a mother at 15 on her own at 17 with two kids made $38 an hour got a work injury in her neck and spine constantly started getting pneumonia and pleurisy all of a sudden which was causing her to miss months of work and lose her job because of it so she got on disability and has SSI. She worked all those years while putting some of her money into the government and is now getting back what she put in because she needs it. You put all that money into paying for the government might as well use it when you need it cuz it is your money. She was done having children of course after her fourth. So sometimes things happen. A woman might be pregnant and be working and then suddenly find out that for her safety and her child's safety that she can't work no more and while she's at home can bring in some more money that she's already paid into. Of course you shouldn't be just living off the government and trying to have kids. You should always be prepared and make sure that you're on your feet before you try to have kids. But like I said shit happens (to those who truly need it) there's definitely a difference between needing it till you get back on your feet and abusing it
@momsrmagical, I feel you on that one . When my man has had a stressful day at work he’ll get in those moods but definitely makes me feel appreciated later on and apologizes . I’m sorry you don’t get much help!!
I get the opposite of help I get everybody just leaves everything in their wake for me to clean up. Apologizing does nothing for me especially when it's for the same thing over and over again. When you're constantly apologizing for the same thing over and over again just so that I get over it means nothing. They're not sorry they just say that to make you shut up and then they just do it again and apologize again then do it again and so on and so on. I honestly don't expect anything of him during the week when he has to work on the weekends he can do some stuff. And sometimes he does but he basically half asses everything and then I just end up having to finish it
@momsrmagical, that’s how my moms husband is lol I truly got blessed with it . Sometimes my man half asses it but the majority he does a great job
I was a phlebotomist for 5 years. I Worked with a girl that was hired and scheduled Full time yet would always figure out how to get out of working too many hours so she wouldn’t lose her welfare. I was disgusted. She was fired after a few months for refusing to work her shifts as hired and scheduled for.
I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE THIS !!!!! You don’t even know . The county I live in literally is INSANE with the amount of people that are like this .
@momof3dragons, girl if you’re working you’re doing the best you can . Others can’t say that they spend their own money on their kids . That’s what I cant stand
Or they are trying for a baby, and can’t afford to get a pregnancy test to see if they are pregnant. 🤦🏼♀️
I receive WIC but I won't go for food stamps because I figure if i make $15 an hour why take something from someone who desperately needs it. I'm currently on unpaid maternity leave though and the thought has crossed my mind to get them for the next three months. I've only been off not even a week and I can't stand it. 🤦 I have to work or I truly lose my marbles. I mopped twice already today LMFAO
@briannalynn547 I don't know, there's absolutely no benefits except expensive ass insurance I don't participate in and I've been there 3 years with no vacations. No sick days! I guess either you get good pay or you get good benefts. Unless ur military or work for the government. Even Cambodia gives paid leave!!!!! I got a small loan coming I asked for to cover my rent which will start coming out of my check $100 a week in February and a raise by one dollar. Still feel it's not enough. I'm the first pregnant woman ever in the company... It's not huge but it's construction and 92 percent men... I just do billing in the office. I fought for my expensive loan :(
@briannalynn547 I was pretty disappointed in the outcome but they threw me a baby shower that was so sweet 3 weeks ago and they got me at least two months worth of diapers and a couple gift cards along with other stuff too so maybe they did that feeling bad lol
These are the same people posting about how their family is judging them for ttc again. Well, no shit. 🙄
That’s why they keep having kids they think the government will take of them
I honestly wish the govt didn’t up their benefits amount with each new kid. My boss doesn’t give me a raise just because I’ve popped out another baby. Maybe if people had to budget and struggle they’d be less likely to make a career out of living off the system.
Children are expensive I’m trying to figure people afford child care and what makes it worse is when government tells you make too much for assistance!Where??? Definitely not to afford 1500-1800 a month in daycare smh
The government does have like discounted or free daycares but they’re always full. It’s insane
That's exactly us! Daycare cost more than I made a month, and while we can pay our bills we're still crossing our fingers that they don't all hit the bank at the same time. But going back to work for me made no sense since I'd be in the red just paying daycare! Family couldn't watch him all that time, and my fiance worked weird hours and frequently traveled last minute, so even getting something part time while he's home didn't work.
I did babysitting on care.com for awhile and it was SO convenient cause a lot of families didn’t mind if I bought my son! Then I did a home health case along with that for the last 5 months, she just recently went to Florida for 6 months though and i stopped both. If the babysitting is a here and there I’ll cover for them or other families though (:
I know I’m aware where I’m at it’s waitlisted I already looked into it and I would have to lie to qualify which I’m not to fond of doing
I've always believed that for most cases, welfare should have a cut off time period, so then you'd only be able to get it for x amount of years, consecutively or broken up doesn't matter. It's a kind system, but it's so flawed
This! People are on it for so long that people who actually need it are waitlisted. It’s crazy!
