Didnt get one bit of sleep last night. I feel so paranoid about my baby, i dont want anything to happen to her because she just came home from the nicu. She kept throwing up a littke after every feed & pooping after every feed as well & i was so nervous cause of that. Thank god she has an appointment today because i need reassurance 😢😢😢 & some sleep !
The first couple of weeks when both my boys came home I was the same way. It took a massive migraine due to lack of sleep for my to finally do it.
It does get easier. ❤️ she’s a strong little lady!
It’s hard to adjust after they’ve been in nicu. My twins were in the nicu for a month. They were 7 weeks early.
Maybe burp her more often during feeds and keep her elevated for 20 minutes after eating. That may help keep her milk down. Mine pooped a lot in the first few weeks like that too, but it’ll slow down. Hopefully you’ll get some peace of mind at the doctor, so you can get some rest. Hang in there!
I'm sorry you didn't get any sleep! That would be so rough. Hopefully at her appointment you'll feel better and be able to get some rest. 🙏🏻
@mhbb3 because she's rude af and that's exactly what she's trying to do. 🙄🤦
i was like this with my son & i know ill be like this with my 2nd baby lol i was on zero sleep for a few good months but it got easier as time went by, i was up all hours just to make sure he was still breathing 💕 its our motherly instincts😊 stay strong mama💪 its all gunna get better😊😘💕😍
My girl spits up/dribbles a lot too. I asked doctor said it’s normal baby reflux. Also she poops after just about every meal. Should be getting a lot of dirty diapers and with that my girl is a champ. I’m a FTM so I’m super paranoid with a lot of things but these two things I’m told are normal. Good luck to you hope you get good answers from doctor.
Thankss, this make me feel alot better & the doctor said the spit up was fine & to just watch out for diarreah, other than that everything is fine 🙏🏻
@therealbrie, great! I’m glad hope that helps you sleep a little easier
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴
I love being skin to skin with my baby. I do it after feedings and we take a nap 😍😍 not every feeding though. but I swear it's the best sleep ever.
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
Thank you all, now i have a little peace of mind 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
