My due date is Saturday and I’m really wanting my baby to come on her own but if I have to be induced does that necessarily mean c section? I really don’t want one of those! She doesn’t seem like she’s budging though

No, that doesn’t mean c-section. I have been induced 4 times and I have had 4 vaginal births.

I actually was induced and had a successful vbac. I don’t know there was a higher risk for csection. You would think they would have told me that😳

Personally, I almost needed a csection after being induced, but luckily didnt. I wouldnt want to be induced again though... My labor was awful, and I’ve always felt like that had something to do with it.

What made it so bad after induction, how far along were you?

No it doesn’t mean c section, it’s just slightly higher risk for one. Like I was induced and ended up in a c section. It just depends on baby

No, induction does not necessarily lead to C-section. There was a bigger, better study done on it and you are no more likely to have to than if she came on her own.

Not unless baby gets in distress or your body doesn’t cooperate

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital?

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital? I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out a baby?! I would like some private time for just my husband & I!
