Girl I feel the same! When I was out there startin my car, scrapin snow off everything...I REALLY tried to think of a good reason that I could call in today! I took the high road and TRYING to be a responsible adult and came to damn work. It'd be SUPER awesome if I was home with the hubs and lil man, still in my jammies just chillin! He was lucky and got veteran's day off but not mama! Be safe out there girl.
How much snow do you guys have? And yah me to. I was like I should just call in lol... tell him happy veterans day. And I know jammies hot coffee and movies all day sound great right now.
We got a little more than a couple inches at home and it's still comin down. I work about an hour south of home so the roads and stuff actually got better the farther from home I got. We live in the middle of nowhere and they don't salt or plow those roads so I'm a little worried about the drive home since it'll be gettin worse the farther north towards home I get!
@mommyandstepmommy, me too mama, small town middle of nowhere Oklahoma...that's us! The funny thing is that out where we live, where it was actually much worse, there was not a SINGLE wreck or people drivin crazy. I get closer to the city and BOOM...wreck here, wreck there, cop car over here, overturned semi in the middle of the damn highway over there...just all out madness and the freakin roads are basically just wet here in the city! I guess us country folk are just used to no one takin care of our roads and learning to actually drive in shit like this!! Lmao!

Yah that's for sure. We live in a small town and they dont know how to plow roads here lol so I know what you mean.
