Can anyone share their experience and thoughts about the Epidural?
I’m a soon to be mom & all though I still have half of my pregnancy to go I’d like to have a natural birth.
I loved my epidural. It made my experience way more enjoyable!
Honestly for me its not worth it I got the shakes horribly it looked like I was having a seizure my back now (after a whole year) is MESSED UP my right leg goes numb I get pains so bad I can't walk I've almost dropped my daughter a few times because of the pain and numbness. Ask for what other pain management you can have there's more then just the epi That's just the most common
Mine was,awesome....both time. Best thing ever. Lol. It was better the first time though because I could still move my legs and feel pressure but not pain. The second time I couldn't lift my legs for like an hour after it was stopped.
I went in hoping to go natural but once they broke my water my contractions were very intense. I quickly found out I may not have as high of pain tolerance than I thought. I was relieved within 20 minutes of getting epidural. I could relax until it was time to push. It was pretty amazing!
I know I couldn't have done it without mine that's for sure the contractions were terrible I can only imagine how much worse the birth would have been 😂😂
Mine wore off twice so I had to give natural birth I hated the feeling of it going into my spine even though you are numbed u still can feel a little bit just not pain of the needle.... I hate the feeling of my legs being numb and people having to reposition me cause u couldn’t move my legs.... I really think I had a sucky anesthesiologists honestly
It worked for me and I fricking loved it 😅 didn’t feel a single contraction once I had it, they told me when to push and I had him out within two mins of pushing. Everyone’s experience is different girl, trust your gut in the given situation!!
First one work wonders, had a lot of backpain after but now not much. With my second it didn’t work so I had to get it redone. Which was almost stupid that I did since I experienced all my contractions without it which was by far the worst pain ever and it didn’t kick in until I was about to push. So after birth it was awhile before I could get out of bed where as with my first it was like an hour or two before I got out of bed.
Both times it caused me to feel itchy & shivery & wore off acouple hours before I pushed !
They thought I was only 4 cm when I got it when I was 9 . I was in so much pain thinking that pain was only 4 I got it a little late, but next time I will get it early so I can rest. I was in so much pain the whole time by the time I started pushing I was exhausted.
First one worked perfect. Second didn’t work but for a couple hours and messed my back up
We have a racist on the APP ‼️
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
We all have a different definition of “clean”🤢
My first time the epidural was amazing but I felt like they gave me too much to where when it was time to push I couldn’t because I couldn’t feel nothing. With my second the dr messed up on placing my epidural twice. She tried to do it a third time I said hell no and just braced myself for this natural labor
