First period after birth? Did anyone’s first period after birth last more than 7 days? I’m on cycle day 12 and it’s super heavy. I didn’t get my period until getting on birth control (2nd week on patch). Currently 1month 3 wk pp. my cycle started Halloween, the 31st @ 6 weeks pp.

Aw ok. I was pumping at first but because of milk supply the nicu wanted me to supplement and I’ve been waiting on my breast pump to come. It’s been almost 2 months I’m hoping I can get my supply back. I’ve tried everything but baby will not latch anymore.
@chink93, That sounds so stressful! I mainly formula feed and I just pump twice per day now since I'm ready to be done with pumping. Best of luck to you!

Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I'm 7 weeks pp. I stopped bleeding and spotting at 4 weeks pp. My period started at 6 weeks pp and lasted only 4 days. I'm on the mini pill and I pump.
