Is it just me or does anyone else need advance notice for visitors? My dad never comes to see the kids. And his fiancé hates me so I don’t go to their house. He calls me saying he’s in the area and coming up to my exit and wants to stop by. I’m a mess, I need to shower no bra sweatpants the works. I’m doing some heavy cleaning (moving furniture and such) my house is a disaster. And his fiancé won’t even sit on my couch when my house is spotless. I told him the house was all pulled apart because I’m cleaning and it wasn’t a good time. I hear his fiancé in the background say “ugh so she doesn’t want us to come?”
Like give me notice. I have two toddlers and I get tired. And the one time in months he wants to stop by is because it’s a convenience because he’s already in the area.

How annoying. I always need notice. My dogs are high strung and one is a nervous pee-er. Plus, my kids like to be nudists 😂

She’s pretty much isolated him from his kids. A few weeks ago she got mad because she wanted to take the kids to the zoo. (Without me) and I said no I wasn’t comfortable with that because 1. They don’t really know her. 2. I don’t really know her. And 3. They can be a handful and seeing as how she’s not really a presence in their lives it could get stressful.
But she’s never attempted to get to know me or be nice to me.
