Ok so I am potty training my 21 month old daughter or I'm trying to lol so I got her a potty seat that you put on the actual toilet but my daughter is scared of it or scared she is going to fall and I tell her it is ok and that she won't fall but she still gets so scared so I had turned her around with her facing the wall and I gave her a washable marker so that way she can draw on the toilet lid so that it makes her feel better but she is still scared but not as scared as she was before. So my question is has this happened to your baby as well when you were trying to potty train your baby? Or did you buy an actual little potty?
No no lol I will have go to daycare at 18 months in January . It’s not a requirement until preschool as well but if the child is toilet training they have toilets for them
I give my daughter books to keep her occupied . I have her sit on the little potty too but soon I’ll use the seat to prepare her for daycare in two months where they use toilets
The daycare makes 1 year olds use toilets? 😳 At my daughter’s school they don’t start toilet training until 2 years old but only if the child is showing readiness. It’s not required to be potty trained until they’re 3.

Why is there such a push to do it so early?
This week I’m going to start the potty training journey. I just pulled out her potty chair and she was so excited. I would love to hear any tips you have!!!

Early potty training (correction: early elimination): how many of you tried and how successful was it? Every time I try, it’s too late, the baby already peed or pooped and I cannot read her facial expressions to tell that she is due in advance 🤷♀️

Heyy ladies I have a question my daughter is 24 months old and googled signs that she is ready to potty train she takes off diaper and puts toilet paper around her arm ect... so yesterday we decided to go ahead and buy her pull-ups and I have a little potty toilet that my mom got her for Christmas but the only thing is that today that I went to restroom and she followed me as she usually does well I tried to sit her on her toilet she didn’t like it so how do I start because she is 100% ready but...
Try getting her a toddler potty. You can offer both and let her pick. There’s no rush to use the toilet, she’s very young and will eventually get the hang of it. If you pressure her too much she will resist.
