Tmi. Kind of.
Wednesday I went and finally met with one of my doctors. They did an invasive ultrasound (had to find where my IUD was sitting to the baby), then I had all the invasive exams and smears. Also got my IUD removed. Since all of this I have been extremely sore and my cervix is swollen. Any tips on helping the pain and swelling outside of tylenol?

Ouch! It’s going to be sore give it a few more days if it’s not better mon/tues give doc a call , id wrap some ice cubes in some kitchen roll and put it on your vagina it will reduce swelling and pain xx

Thank you ❤ I tried using a heat compress for a little, seemed to help for an hour then it all came back. Hard having this pain when there's an almost 3 year old wanting your attention at all times to play.

@babymamaof4 Yeah, definitely agree with stupid IUD's! Say 99.9% effective, failed to say, hey, if they paragard shifts from this exact spot, it will fail. Almost 3 years of having it, it shifted the first time me and my boyfriend of almost 4 months did anything. So SURPRISE. Now pregnant, and don't know how to tell my parents I got pregnant to someone not even a month into the relationship and just found out.

oh that would be hard! I had my paraguard in 4 years when I found out I was pregnant with my last one. It’s crazy!
