I'm 4 days late, tested earlier this week but it was negative. I said I wasn't going to test untill Monday or Tuesday when my cylcle day is at 35. This may be the second month my cycle is over 30 days now. I dont understand the increase.. has any been threw this before? If it is longer how do I know when I'm ovulating, these apps are unpredictable then..

There's always lh in your system throughout everyday of your cycle, resulting in two lines on your ovulation test , everyday. Two lines doesn't make it positive though. It's not like a pregnancy test. An opk is only considered positive when the test line is darker than the control line or equal in color! From there it means that ovulation will take place in 12 to 36 hours following the positive opk. Never use first morning urine with ovulation test strips... the best time to test is between 2 and 8pm as lh is emitted into the urine stream and at it's highest in the afternoon hours. Test once a day, when you notice your test line is getting darker, I recommend testing multiple times a day so that you don't miss your surge!! If you decide to use clearblue advanced, you use those with first morning urine, as it detects another key hormone, which requires fmu. When you get a solid smiley it means that u will ovulate 12 to 36 hours.
When it comes to bd, the days leading up to ovulation are the most important as its better to have the swimmers in there already awaiting the egg, rather than on the way because sperm takes time to travel and you don't want to miss your chance. When you get a super close to positive, bd, when you get a positive bd, because ovulation happens 12 to 36 hours from that point. Although it can take up to 48 hours. After u track for a few cycles, and see when your ovulation normally happens, you can time bding alot better as you'll have an idea of when it usually happens for you. You'll get the hang of it. And ovulation dates vary cycle to cycle , but they usually aren't more than a day or two apart. Though sometimes it can happen at very random times !! So the use of opks are very important !! You may ovulate on cd14 this cycle... then cd16 the following cycle.. You just never know! And inputting this information into your app will average your cycles data, and help u better understand your cycle and what's normal for you, everyone's cycle is different. If your cycle length has gotten longer it's because you're ovulating later than you usually do which makes your period show later than your normal time! Order some opks off of amazon, easy at home is the best, or clear blue advanced, at a local store, although they are a little pricey they are definetly worth it !! Those two are very accurate and will let you know when it's ovulation time!! The apps are usually always wrong when it comes to predicting ovulation, as they just make a guess using the information you have put into them to go off of. The apps can be extremely helpful after tracking for a few cycles, using opks, and being consistent with entering your data about your cycle everyday into them. You can also try bbt, i always loved charting and recording temps !! That's the only real way to confirm ovulation has taken place besides being monitored.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
