So during my past and first visit with my new obgyn I was diagnosed with cervicitis and endometritis ( inflammation and infection of the cervix ) he prescribed me a medication but made a mistake on the prescription so it wasn’t approved. That was a week and some days ago. I called his office to fix the mistake and get approved and was told they were on it . The pharmacist faxed him also to get the right prescription and they still haven’t fixed it. I call and he’s either not in that office ( he has other offices ) or I’m told it’s being handled but it’s obviously not . I’m worried, this is very serious it could send me to preterm labor and overall I want to be treated . I don’t know what more to do. He’s a high risk doctor , I thought it would’ve been fixed in a timely matter.

Like I said, I've never heard of it, lol, so I'm no help. But from what I read online... maybe it's a slow progressing infection so you have time to treat it? I want to believe he wouldn't be that negligent, he examined you so he must know what he's doing

:( I'm sorry that you're experiencing this. I wonder why he's so nonchalant about your treatment. Can you go back to the office for a prescription, might be a better bet than waiting for him to send it

@sweetsap88, No, my doctor says he’s resolving it but hasn’t sent the prescription and the complications this can bring has me so worried . I think it’s time to switch doctors again.

This one sent me to google, never heard of cervicitis. Did you get the meds? Cervicitis can cause problems in pregnancy if left untreated. Endometriosis mostly causes problems when not pregnant, pregnancy for most women relieves symptoms of endometriosis.
