My poor baby has RSV! She got it from a another baby in the nursery at her daycare. I really wish parents would keep their sick children at home.
@claudie_02 unfortunately there is no medicine for RSV. It is a virus so antibiotics won't work. All you can do is just treat the symptoms.
@thegermanmommy Thanks alot i will def tell them to test her for RSV, is your baby on any type of medecine?
@claudie_02 I would definitely take her back and have them test for RSV. Just to be on the safe side.
@thegermanmommy Oh No!🤦🏻♀️ my daughter has been like that sense last month & when i took her in to her pediatrician he just prescribed her allergies medecine.. 🙄 not sure if she might have RSV cause her coughing & runny nose is still not gone at all.
@rikki. Thank you. It's scary. My oldest never had RSV so this is all new to me. All I hear are stories about children being hospitalized or dying of RSV.
I hate hearing all the horror stories.
The doctor didn't hospitalize my daughter because she said it would be manageable from home and she also didn't want her in the hospital when it was cold & flu season too. We just used the humidifier and bulb suckers and got through it.
@claudie_02 coughing, sneezing, low grade temp, vomiting, diarrhea nasal congestion. It is pretty much all the same symptoms for a cold in an adult.
Poor baby. My daughter had RSV when she was around the same age. Hope she gets better quickly!
@tristan-makes-5 thank you. I really hope we dont have to go to the hospital
Hope she feels better soon! One of my boys had that and spent 2 weeks in the hospital
@thegermanmommy I'm sorry to hear this hope your baby feels better! I hate seeing my daughter like that also she is 9Months & breaks my heart to see her with all the coughing & Runny nose😟😔
