@xxoceanbabexx, if it was hazardous then my son would’ve been died by then which he’s not, so like I said don’t down somebody else for being a bad parent because she’s trying to get her child full and you can go by the book and let her be the parent.

@brittany88, girl my son pediatrician recommended it at that age because he would always want more so give that baby a little, it’s not going to hurt them in anyway, Use a safely pen are something to poke a bigger hole (but not too big) into the nipple because it’s going to get clogged up. Go ask some old schools about it, and stop letting these ones that goes by the book break you and do what’s best for your baby

Talk to your pediatrician and do your own research. What “works” for one may not do the same for another. Infants and even toddlers still wake up throughout the night. It’s totally normal and comes with the territory.

I did it when my son turned 4.5 months because he would go without eating for long hours. He went through a lot of growing spurts and he would sleep for over 8+ hours so I would just give him his bottle while he was asleep because even if I tried to wake him he wouldn’t wake up.

My parents did it to me and my two siblings we are perfectly fine grown up and healthy. I don’t get what’s the big deal about it really but it is your child and it’s your choice.

@brittany88, I put cereal in my sons bottle when he was little. He would eat non stop if didn’t. I told my dr and he said he is healthy n I must being doing it right

It helps them get full my son gets full when I put it in his night bottles but just put a lil in it

I put it in my son bottle he has no problem choking he likes it and he's only 4 months I'm keep doing this every night for him to sleep

I wouldn't put cereal in your baby's bottle at all. It's recommended to wait until 6 months old to give anything other than formula or breast milk. We did BLW and skipped cereal all together because our doctor told us it is basically empty calories.

Never, usually doctors won’t recommend that unless your baby has reflux. It can actually be a choking hazard.
