BREASTFEEDING MOMS!!
I have to return to work the beginning of December and I'm in a panic. I seem to produce just enough for my baby...no more. So its basically impossible for me to build up a stash of breastmilk for my mom to give her when she watches her when I return to work. Right now I maybe have 20oz or so stored up. I take fenugreek 2 pills 3x a day. I drink the mini Gatorades. Eat the lactation cookies. Drink water. Nurse frequently. But I dont know what to do to have even the slightest oversupply so I can start a stock. Any suggestions?
You don’t need a huge stash. Just enough for a couple days to get you going cause baby will eat what you pump at work for the next day. But try pumping after baby goes to bed or after the first morning feed (you generally have the most then) even if you only get an ounce...start saving them up and combining it to make full bottles. You can do it!
I'm just worried about making sure I have some sort of stash when I go back on call in case I work late or into the night. But yeah I need to just combine the little bits I can get!
Try drinking Mother's Milk Tea. Worked like a charm when I was loosing my supply with my first. I ended up being able to breastfeed/breastpump for at least a year.
Does your baby eat from both sides at each feed? What helped me build a small stash was pumping one side while my son ate from the other. I was able to pump at work, so I would pump what I needed for the next day and never really had an issue with needing a stash. I really was panicked about it but it ended up being just fine. I was able to pump at work until I weaned him at 14 months.
She HATES my left and refuses to eat from it bc it doesn't produce as much and has a slower letdown. I will try that!
I should add I've tried supplementing her with formula so I can pump sometimes and she was taking that fine but is now refusing formula altogether so the pressure is really on for me to provide breastmilk for her when I go back to work
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Also I forgot to mention if you still leak from the opposite breast when feeding I would use a silicone suction pump while nursing to get a little extra during let down. Again you can add up all these little bits!
