Does anyone know why you can’t have sex for 2 weeks after a laparoscopic surgery? I had surgery almost a week ago. I’m just curious.

Risk of infection. Anything inserted into the vagina can introduce bacteria which could turn in to an infection since you have an open wound.

I swear hemorrhoids!!!!! 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩💔💔💔💔💔💔 Allost two weeks postpartum and still dealing with them! I'm scare to need surgery for them. 😪
Update on Isabella ? So as you may know She had heart surgery At 10 weeks old a lot earlier than expected As she went into heart failure! The surgery went as well As it could as her heart was more complicated than expected! Well after surgery they realised she had two holes, one was bigger than they would like and was a concern! They have been seeing her every 2-4 weeks since and we're talking about surgery again! And a procedure where they put a catheter in her groin to go and check the pressure in her lungs as the holes could be damaging them. She's on 3 different meds two twice a day and 1 3 times a day and has been since a week old! I've stopped her two reflux meds and she's fine ? today her
Thought I'd post a recent picture of Isabella! You wouldn't think she had serious major open heart surgery 4 weeks ago! She's such a happy baby!! 14 weeks now!! Where has time gone!!!!! ?
