Does anyone know why you can’t have sex for 2 weeks after a laparoscopic surgery? I had surgery almost a week ago. I’m just curious.

Risk of infection. Anything inserted into the vagina can introduce bacteria which could turn in to an infection since you have an open wound.
Doctors are always telling us we can’t have sex they want us to be miserable

So as you may know She had heart surgery At 10 weeks old a lot earlier than expected As she went into heart failure! The surgery went as well As it could as her heart was more complicated than expected! Well after surgery they realised she had two holes, one was bigger than they would like and was a concern!
