Hi mommas, when I got my flu shot last month, I did not know I should request a mercury-free flu vaccine (vaccine containing no thimerosal). I could have got a flu shot that contains mercury while pregnant. Did you have similar experience? I am so concerned. 😞

Has anyone here taken the non egg flu vaccine? My specialists are putting a lot of emphasis on me considering this non egg version of the vaccine because I have autoimmune issues and I’m a sepsis survivor so I can get infected easier. However, this particular vaccine is more powerful than the egg derived shot and it makes me really nervous. I have never taken a flu shot and only got it in 1999 and 2013. I just don’t know if I’m willing to risk it and would love to talk to someone like me with a severe egg allergy who got through it okay before I decide...
