@lovelyynasia, no they asked me when I wanted it & I said if I can get the nexplanon right away and she did it the day after
They usually don’t clear you for sex until your 6w appt. So you can discuss what kind you want then.
I had to wait 6 weeks later to get and IUD. And when I went back on the pill they gave it to me before I left the hospital. It honestly depends on which method you pick.
Before I got discharge , but I got the depo shot .
Did they give you options? Or was that the only one?
@lovelyynasia, no they didn’t give me options , since I wanted to cut my tubes . But I had a lot of complications, another surgery for me I don’t think My body would handle another surgery...
I was told 4-6 weeks.. clearly that didn’t work out tho 😂🤰🏼
My first I got birth control before discharge.
@lovelyynasia, it was 17 years ago so things may have changed, but I did. My last two we practice NFP so I didn’t inquire.

Depends which birth control - i had the mirena put in 4 weeks PP
