Hey ladies when is a good time to start my daughter on Whole milk she will be 9months on the 19th???

When she turns 12 months.

12 months. My son is 9 almost 10 months & i will give him like 2-4oz of whole milk like every other day to try & transition him so once he hits 12 months & i take away formula it won’t be as hard!

Wait til 12 months to give whole milk. The transition is usually easy because whole milk is a little sweeter than formula. But you want that formula for the first 12 months of life to supply most of baby’s nutrition so no point in switching until baby is a year old. Good luck!:)

The only reason ppl don’t recommend whole milk before 12 months is bc they get all of their nutrients from formula, whereas whole milk doesn’t give them the same nutrients. 12 months babies are getting nutrients from real food so it’s ok. If someone wants to give their baby whole milk at 9 or 10 months, it’s fine. Long as that’s not the only thing they’re drinking.

I really don’t see the point in starting milk so soon? Like there is no reason for it unless you’re trying to be cheap on formula, which would be really bad for the baby. The transition is honestly not that serious that you need to start 3-4 months in advance. They’re stomachs are more tolerable by 12 months as well so giving it early could potentially give them digestive pains.. Why even take that chance when there is absolutely no reason for it?
