Safety isn't an opinion. It shouldn't matter how many kids you have, they should all be safe.
I just don't see why some people have to put the multiple same opinion on a post multiple times like if I go in I want to post something on somebody's post but I see that somebody already said what I wanted to say I just move on because I'm sure the person who posted Does not need multiple people gaining on her or him
No one is ganging up on her. Repetition =/= ganging up. The women commenting are simply of the same opinion, and that’s okay! Maybe seeing the same comments over and over will help steer her into getting a new seat for her little one versus a secondhand seat that she cannot verify the safety of and maybe they won’t, but they could also help another mom that is reading. Knowledge is power.
Well good for the people who don't buy used which is okay state your opinion and move on there no need for the same opinion to be put on a comment by multiple people I don't understand why people think repeating the same thing over and over is going to make your way the right way
Caring about car seat safety isn’t pretentious, it’s smart. As a mother to so many children, you should be well aware that it isn’t recommended to buy a seat second hand. You never know what kind of damage it could have to it from being in an accident, from being dropped, or anything else. You’re going to do what you want to do, but I wish you would show a bit more care about car seat safety and get your baby a brand new one. Your choice could be a fatal one for your baby. If money is an issue, there are programs to help!
The amount of kids you have shouldn't determine if you take safety seriously or not.. Just because the seat looks good doesn't mean it's safe. If you cant afford a new one there's usually programs that can help you get a brand new one for free.
That’s a score!!! Definitely would toss the seat though. You don’t know it’s history whether it looks to be in good shape or not. They sell infant seats for around $50 now or a lot of agencies give new ones free to ensure safety.
I’ve also had several kids and my mom wanted to buy a car seat for my baby off Facebook from someone we didn’t know at all and I’d rather not risk my baby’s life if I can prevent it but it is your choice and if you don’t absolutely care 100% then it’s your choice to risk your baby’s life 🤷🏻♀️
Not to rain on your parade but car seats should never be bought second hand. Unless you know the previous owner and are absolutely sure it wasn’t involved in a vehicle collision. Even if it looks fine on the outside, there could be micro cracks or damage that can’t be seen by the naked eye. Damage like this could hinder the seat more susceptible to breaking apart/injuring your child/not protecting child during an accident. Please cut the straps, toss it and get your baby a brand new one. A life could depend on it.
