14 days til due date... doc will induce if I don’t go before where I’m high risk. Is it worst to be induced? Does it lead to c-section? How to make it go natural????
I was induced with both my girls for medical reasons my doctors wanted to wait till 41 weeks to induce me but I was induce With both at 40 weeks 5 days and had then at 40 weeks 6 days. With my first I had spd and he was scared if I didnt deliver the baby I wouldnt go back to normal (my pelvic bone) and with my second my water was leaking the on call didnt believe me so two days later at my appointment they did an NST and there was a drop in her heartbeat which meant there was enough amniotic fluid around her (my water did break slowly) so they induced me a few hours later (I went home gave my dog to my cousin got my bags then drove the 45 minutes to my hospital but stopped and got food for the ride down). I had both vaginally. Just a LONG labour. (My first was 28 hours and 14 minutes and my second was 14 hours 44 minutes)
Ive been asking everyone around me if being induced hurts more than normal or is worse and everyone has said no. But as we know, everyone is different. It doesn't mean you will end up getting a c-section. Definitely try being active to progress on your own but I wouldn't worry too much about being induced.
I've had inductions with all my kids, only my last led to a c-section. My first 2 went awesome! No issues at all :)
I can't compare it to being worse since I've never gone into labor on my own, good luck to you though! Only tip I have is sleep during the waiting parts!
