I really don't know how this is going to work he crys forever bc im only giving him 3 oz
Girl feed the boy every child is different and goes threw different stages id be telling his doctor its called the practice of medicine nor the science hes only a month and they go threw many different stages at different times
Maybe the formula is bothering his stomach , how is his bowel movements ? Is he gassy
You should feed as much as the baby wants. My baby had 1.7 oz the day after she was born - the nurses couldn’t believe it. I have always fed until she was full - and whenever she would be hungry. She is healthy and pretty skinny now.
He's in the 84th percentile they say if he's over that he's over weight
@jenny955, absolutely not true. Your baby is just a month old. My daughter went from 16% at birth to 96% at 2 and 3 months. I’m in medical school and you absolutely do not predict obesity that early on.
If you yourself are overweight and have family history I would keep that in the back of your head. But when your child is hungry - you feed them.
Lol that doctor is fucked. My son ate 4oz every 2h from about 1 month old to 5 months old. Now he eats 8oz in the morning, 4oz at nap time, 6oz before his afternoon nap and 10oz before bed, thats with 3 meals and 2 snacks. Feed your son girl! If he drinks hes hungry. If he gets gassy give him Ovol.
I was feeding him 4oz every 2 hours and he was satisfied and full but she said that's to much every 2 hours and said if I wanna do 4oz then wait 3 hrs
@jenny955 id get a new doctor. Feed the baby as much as he wants.
I’m assuming the only reason you are giving him 3 oz and he is still crying because you aren’t producing enough?
Try giving him a few more ounces! My son was the same way but I ended up giving him around 4-5 ounces & he seemed satisfied.
@jenny955, please, find him a new Doctor. There’s no sense in leaving a baby hungry 😥
1 question guys doesn't it matter if I had GD when I was pregnant with him
