Any Mommies dealing with Constipation and saw blood in their stool!? I noticed this 3 days ago. I called My Doc, She told Me this is normal with Constipation and to get a stool softener. I drink alot of water and I feel that antibiotic I just got off of has screwed up My bowels completely. Every time I have to go I feel a tear followed by bleeding. It's only my anus hole though and it's only apparent when I'm constipated. I'm freaking because rectal bleeding is a sign of the dreaded C word but I don't really notice any difference in anything else just feel discomfort when I have a BM and it's a bit uncomfortable to sit down. Please help! I'm trying to get ahold of the doc right now to see what she says again

I used to work for GI Dr and not all rectal bleeding is a sign of cancer. Try taking some fiber gummies. You can even try fiber bars.

I can assure you that you have nothing to worry about. Drink more water. Anti biotics are very dehydrating. Try eating prunes or drinking prune juice and take stool softeners. Hard stool can cause hemmorhoids which can cause rectal bleeding. It's actually extremely common. What you should worry about is if you're excreting blood completely without stool and always be on the safe side and get a colonoscopy when of age and well women check up every year with a mammogram every one to five years. Take care of yourself.

Thank You So Much!! I have double checked Myself to make sure I wasn't just bleeding and I'm not only when I pass a stool because I strain so much from this dang constipation. Some days I can't even go and when I'm finally able to I feel like I rip my booty hole and that's followed by blood in the toliet and it freaks me out. When I pee there's no blood when I wipe only during this painful bowel. I do need to eat more fiber because I usually don't at all. I appreciate the words of comfort!! At what age are You supposed to get your Colon checked and Mammograms!? I'm 27 is that too young!?

@al_lopezzzz2718 colon yes. Mamogram no. Although check with insurance. Sometimes they only cover certain ages

I’ve suffered from constipation before. It’s totally normal. When you’re constipated, your stool is obviously hard to push out and sometimes it puts too much pressure on the anus. That’s when you get the blood on the stool. Perfectly normal

Thank You So Much As Well!! I yelled for My Husband and He got freaked out saying He doesn't want to lose Our Baby Girl. I said I feel her moving and it's not coming from My Vagina. Thankfully My Baby is Ok!! This just had Me tripping out majorly!! I'm glad I have You Mommies for Comfort!!
