Does it upset anybody else when people refer to your kid as theirs? For instance my Sister in law got in the car the other day and said "where's my baby?" Umm... IDK where are your kids at? MY son is at his grandparents. Does this get to anybody else?
I sometimes refer to my niece and my baby but I know she isn’t my child lol
It only bothers me when its certain people. Those who never call or text or come around
My boyfriend's mom calls my daughter her baby at first she was overkilling it(she even pushed my boyfriend away..like mugged his face.. away from our daughter when he went to kiss her) but its gotten better
All the kids in the family (sisters and brother kids) r my kids it takes a village to rise a child. N u better believe I will fu$& a bi?$& up about every least one of them. I know what till I play and so do everyone else.
U know she didn’t mean literally!! 😙
Husbands mom started this while I was pregnant, he doesn't get it...says she means her grandson when she says son and when she says her baby she doesn't mean it like that.
I have really bad postpartum anxiety because of it and I refuse to let his family watch my son, though we don't let anyone hold him yet because he isn't vaccinated.
Also we dropped off stuff at his parents house, they live like 5 mins away, and his mom came out when we were trying to hurry and wanted to see him in the car, I was like seriously you just saw him, her response no I haven't when? I said exactly 6 days ago...oh that was forever ago. I was so frustrated I said seriously?! And she said she went out of her way not to "bother me all week" I said wow, 1 week, you are going to drive me crazy. "Oh I just miss my little guy" I said seriously I'm going to kill you guys. Probably not the nicest reaction but I'm so sick of being hounded by them! Last week I was wearing my son in a carrier and my FIL wouldn't stop coming over trying to touch him even after I said no. Just irked by them.
We are the same. This is EXACTLY what my mil did/does and we lived 3 blocks away. She keeps saying my son is hers blah blah blah, but doesn’t bother to visit us. OKAY. 🙄 I also have PP anxiety, I’ve had anxiety for most of my life, and I refuse to let anyone watch my son, ESPECIALLY her. I don’t trust her.😣
Don’t bother me one bit! Just means they love my kids and I love that❤️
It does not bother me one bit and I agree it takes a village when raising kids I call my
Nephews and nieces my babies all the time as a mother i take care of my nieces and nephews as I do for my own .. it’s normal to me but at the end of the day my kids know who is mommy is and so
Does my neices and nephews lol
I mean if you want to be technical my husband calls me his baby lol and really I’m Sheena’s baby 😂
Totally depends who’s saying it I guess.
My mom always says where are my babies, and it doesn’t bother me lol. We both know who gave birth to them what does it matter who says “my babies”
Doesn’t bug me. My mother in-law says “where’s my girls” or “where’s my boys”, when she sees the kids. Obviously they ARE her grandkids..lol like where’s my grandkids..I dunno seems normal to me 🙊 Everyone’s different though if it bugs you tell them not to do it ❤️
It might honestly just be pregnancy things and the type of person she is that got to me. Because "where's my girls at" wouldn't upset me as silly as it sounds.
@ashtonndamon, well with my situation when she stops keeping up with my work schedule & dropping her kid off so she can go out of town to do whatever while I make sure her child is good I’ll stop calling her my baby lol
Lol I say that to my nieces & nephews but I obviously know they’re not mine 😂
It really depends on who it is because I know the mindsets of the people around me. For example: I have no problem with it coming from my aunts or most of my siblings but I won't accept it from my step grandmother or my sister right under me.
I can see maybe my parents. But she can't even take care of her own kids so for her to call my kid hers really got to me
I do that with my sisters kids. That’s because i took part in raising them so essentially they are part mine lol. I see how that would get annoying though because my mom is the same way with my brother and I.
@ashtonndamon, I can dig that. Like how are you unfit but want to claim my baby? Ummm no thanks. I hate how people feel entitled because of a bloodline especially if they aren’t doing anything for my kid. Take a step back honey. Lol
I sometimes refer to my niece and my baby but I know she isn’t my child lol
It's one of my biggest pet peeves. If it's not your baby don't call it your baby. In my opinion.
@ashtonndamon, I highly doubt she means or has any intentions to claim your child as her own. Try to accept it as another person to love your amazing child in such a cold and cruel world. Now if she walks up, snatches your baby out your hands and says "gimme my baby"..that's another story and THAT would set this mama off!
My cousin does the same thing. I have to remind her im the one who birth him

Does anybody else see the plus??
does anybody else not have the linea nigra line? or am I alone ?
Thinking about joining ItWorks. Does anybody else sell? Pros, cons? Friend/family stories about it?
Ugh does anybody else have a problem with your heart racing? Mine does it a lot, worse in the mornings.
