Did anybody ever use monistat in the last weeks of their pregnancy? My dr recommends monistat for yeast infection during pregnancy but idk if it’d be safe this late in my pregnancy? This morning when I went pee and wiped I had cottage cheese like green discharge.

@alyboo102293, I was just checked for stds and I’ve only been with my fiancé for the past 2 years so that’s not it...I was more concerned because I read that it could be that he swallowed meconio me...I’m going to the hospital though.
I’m not sure then, you could probably ask your doctor if they will prescribe a pill for it if you aren’t comfortable with the over the counter I hate that stuff anyways lol I’d rather get a pill from the doctor.
I would go get seen immediately green discharge is usually a sign of something a lot more serious, yeast infections like uti’s usually only have amplified white discharge associations. Things like BV, chlamydia & gonorrhea cause a green discharge.
I would contact your doctor asap and see what they say. Green discharge is usually bacteria vaginosis not yeast infection. Being so close to you delivering they might want to treat you a different way.
Its best to see OB or urgent with any infection symptoms. Especially this late in preg.
So I went to the hospital and they said the green discharge is normal
