I Don’t Have A Problem Doing It But Why Is It That Men Feel Since They Work or Pay Bills That They Do More Than Moms?? I Work A Full Time As Well But I’m Up All Night With OUR Son. I’m Cleaning Up All Throw Up, Checking Temps, Giving Meds n Etc Alongside Being Pregnant and Due Any Day Now... I Can Only Imagine How Life Is Going To Be When The Second Baby Gets Here. All I Can Do Is Pray On It & Keep Pushing. Wish Men Understood Where We Come From And Gave More Effort

Its hard. Having two babies I be so tired. One thing I can't stand is when they pretend to be sleep when the baby crying knowing your tired. Like please get her for me. I'm exhausted.

Yesss and that’s my worst fear bringing this new baby home. With our son he will not move a muscle unless my son is sick or something and then it just to wake me up and say do this or that and to check on him. Like you’re dad , you can do this stuff too it’s not rocket science

Amen I understand... that’s why I didn’t do anything around the house for almost two weeks. When things were being questioned like “did this get washed” or “why is this such a mess”. I smiled and said our invisible maid has quit so time to do a chores list that includes the kids.... don’t get me wrong we have our hurdles some days but for the most part that did get through to him. After we joked around I sat down and went over EVERYTHING that gets done and it opened up his eyes especially since he’s a visual person (it was a long list). I’m not saying this would work for you but do try to communicate in a way that’s not argumentative and a way he would understand. I’m not saying you are argumentative but I know when I’m exhausted I’m snappy at everything and everybody 😬

Example: last night I forgot to put his work uniform into the dryer. He got up this morning and went to the dryer thinking they were there and instead of simply just sticking them in the dryer to dry he left them in the washer??? Lol Like wtf!!
That’s the thing.. I’ve told him like just because I’m the female that doesn’t mean I have to cater and do everything.
His excuse is he’s tired and he pays all the bills. I’m just like that’s not fair at all and you shouldn’t think that way. Then I think back , yeah he’s a mamas boy and the only child so he’s use to being catered to.

My husband was like that until we had our second. I forced him to do more. It's better now for sure

I hope things change when our second gets here because now .. things are a hot mess and sad to say things he did for me when I was pregnant with our first he won’t lift a finger this time around and crazy thing is he knows what he’s doing. He just doesn’t see anything wrong with it
