Okay fellow mamas... I feel kind of dumb for asking this but I’m expecting my first baby and I am wondering if anyone can explain to me what contractions feel like and how I know if I’m having them?

@doubleksmommy, good to know! Thank you! Today I started getting cramps off and on for about an hour and then they went away and I figured it was probably gas

@nyoung1006 yeah and it'll stop. Some ppl get them towards the end of preg and some ppl dont. I didn't with either of my kids. When I was preg with my first and the first contraction hit in the middle of my sleep I was like OMGGG . It felt like someone kicked me in the stomach with a boot on lol

Like realllllyyyyyyy BAD cramps that last for a few seconds then stops then comes again. You'll know when they start believe me.
I learned it’s ok not to be ok thanks to @leonardsquared, I’m going to try remembering that whenever I feel like I’m failing as a mom because I can’t do the things I used to do.....I’m just sick of feeling sick 😔
My significant other hasn’t been to one appt. am I crazy for being bothered about it? I’m already depressed I’m having another baby. I didn’t even want anymore. I feel like I don’t have the support I need.
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
What is the normal rent for a 1br / 1ba in your area? I’m currently paying $857 a month & I really feel like it’s overpriced

They’re like a cramp, your abdomen tightens a bit. I had them for months, and didn’t realize that’s what was going on until I went in when I was being induced and the nurse looked at the monitor I was hooked up to and said “you just had s contraction, did you feel it?” Lol I was like yeah, I’ve been feeling those for a couple months and didn’t know that’s what it was. 😂
