How do you guys deal with grandparents?! My daughter is 9 months old and we have been living with my parents for a while now. We are buying a house in the next few weeks though. I can always tell when my mom is pissed about something because she walks around with an obvious attitude. She mentioned yesterday that she felt like she hadn’t seen madi (my daughter) in days, even though we live with them. What she really means is she hasn’t held her and played with her. Today when she came home from work we were getting ready to leave to go food shopping and since then she’s had an attitude. How do I deal with that? Also let me inform you, where we are buying a house is 2 hours away from my parents. She can’t even go 3 days without having an attitude..yet we’re moving so far away. I don’t think that’s really fair that I have to deal with an attitude. She’s MY daughter. I’ve raised her around my mom for 9 months so far. every milestone has been “shared” and I feel like we haven’t had any time as just our little family. Am I wrong?

Hun I dealt with the same crap with my husbands parents. But then him and I both put all of them in their place. And now they know that we are the boss, and they need to step back. We love them, and are very grateful for everything they do for their grandchildren. But you got to put them in their place. Especially with living with them. Because that's when they really think they have a say in how you raise your babies. Which is bs to me. And now they all know I'm a mama bear, and what I say goes. Like that's not right for her to constantly have a attitude, especially around your baby girl. I would not put up with that. She should know better.
