My aunt is throwing a fit because I insist on my daughters seat being installed and used correctly. She thinks I’m a car seat nazi but I really don’t care. She’s a reckless driver and I don’t trust her to install the seat correctly or use it properly.

@penelope127, exactly, I don’t play this game. I don’t even like her messing with my car seat that I put in my grandmas car. It’s a 300$ seat she easily will fuck up because she doesn’t think car seat safety matters like it does.

Id be like (in my nice voice): "Auntie, can you ensure to NEV-URR get in an accident? No? Then I will ensure my baby is safe and secure." Nothing is 100%. Some people (older gen) don't realize these safety instructions and requirements are there for a reason. There are even more idiots out on the road too,, im sure she sees it everyday. I do!

I called my uncle a car seat cop as a compliment when he fixed my son’s car seat because I didn’t know it was wrong. People need to get over themselves. 🙄

@imaboymom, that exactly how I feel! I used to be one of those people that would say “I’ll never get in an accident” until one day I did get in one. On top of that, my husband lost his older sister to a car accident because the driver of the car she was in was distracted.

@bitchcraft, see that’s the biggest thing! I hate when people get high and mighty about it like it’s a parenting choice. Put your pride in yourself aside for your child. If I ever was doing something wrong with my kids I’d want someone to say something to me. I’d blame myself for the rest of my life if something I could have prevented happened to my kids.
