Do you still normally see midwifes first appointment on the 8th week? I'm 8 weeks Sunday, had to refer myself to maternity hospital as my gp surgery midwife won't see me and I still haven't heard anything🤔 is this normal can't remember from 2 years ago😂

I saw my midwife at 8 weeks but they told me she doesn't usually see people till they're between 10 and 12 weeks

I think it's when they have a booking appointment slot available as well.
With Bethany I was 8 weeks, with this one I was closer to 6 weeks
