So because my baby is small I have to take steroid shots twice a week do anybody know do they actually help with the baby's weight

@cutie22, sounds like you may have IUGR. They may take him earlier. What does your doc say?
The steroids should be given in 2 sessions to help mature the baby’s lungs. Nothing to do with weight. Weekly appts will most likely be to monitor baby’s progress.

I had to get steroid shots two of them my doctor told me it was to make sure my sons lungs where strong enough if he was to come early, I came back positive for preterm labor that’s why he had me do it
