@valerie_jean, I just got one from dollar general. I didn't know they had them. And for $1. The cashier just asked me "you think you might be expecting?" I said no. Idk. And she replied "well if you are..congratulations"

@rese, dude I hate when cashiers make a comment on the test you’re buying! Like with my son I bought one and she was like “good luck....” with a disappointing look. Like fuck you bitch mind your business maybe I tried for this baby🙄🙄

They’re just doing their job. I’ve worked retail a long time.. they’re supposed to try and make conversation and be friendly..

@inked_mommy92, yes I agree. Being friendly and making conversation is okay. But touching on personal subjects isn't. If someone was buying depends or pads you wouldn't talk about urinary problems or your period. Certain things are off limits

@rese, Well no you don’t talk about things like that. But she was asking a simple question.. maybe you don’t want another but maybe you do. Idk I guess I don’t see the problem. But to each their own. I guess I just stopped caring a lot time ago. People are gonna judge and be nosey. Seems to be the new trend in 2018 😂

I’ve also worked in retail and honestly I have NEVER asked about any of the products the customer was buying. There are other ways to make a conversation without making that person feel uncomfortable.
