Has anyone here had an External Cephalic Version (ECV) to turn a breech baby to the head down position? I will be having it done at 37 weeks and 1 day in less than 2 weeks from now. Was it successful for you? Did baby stay head down until you went into labor? What was your experience? Did you have to have an emergency c section?
I was told there is a small possibility that an emergency c section may have to be performed if the baby shows signs of distress and I'm freaking out about it. I so badly want to have a vaginal delivery.

I dont really remember...maybe like a week or so🤔 lol to hold against your incision...any kind of sudden movement like that feels like your incision is gonna rip open😵 the pillow helps to "soften" it
How long do you have to be on pain meds? And what would i do with the pillow if i need to pee or laugh? Lol
O it went so good! But it was my first baby so all i had to do was take care of myself and the baby. If you do have to have a c section, you really just need to take it easy. Take your pain meds and carry a pillow everywhere you go in case of sneezes and laughs😁 hopefully you'll get your vaginal birth tho!
@caitydid How was your c section experience? I have the ECV scheduled for November 12th and I already have a scheduled c section for November 28th just in case in doesn't work. I'm terrified to have a c section. I have a 3 year old and delivered him vaginally, so a c section would be new to me.
I did, I was not quite 38 weeks. It did not work, she turned half way and then refused to budge. She never did turn then and I ended up having a scheduled c-section.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
