I got the paragard iud it’s the copper one like 3 weeks ago. She said my periods would be heavy and cramps would hurt which I’m use too. But I’m having huge clots I’m going through pads less then an hour. My whole abdomen hurts even to the touch. I called and i have an appointment for in the morning. Has anyone had this happen to them?

I had the same issue and was told it’s normal. I would bleed through a tampon and a pad in about an hour maybe hour and a half it was horrible!
@1618ellis, I’m bleeding so much that I’m little headed and freezing.
@annekam1022 the Depo shot almost killed me when I was younger it works so well now that I'm in my early thirties I thought I was going to go crazy
@1618ellis, ya i know this is the only hormonal free. So that’s why I’m trying it.
I hate birth control it is so unnatural for our bodies I can no longer do birth control I'm going to have to come up with some other method
