My daughter has a decent size cut on the side of her big toe and it's wide. ( Doesn't need stitches) but idk how she got it she was complaining it was hurting yesterday and I looked and there was blood and a bid cut. she won't really walk on that foot, So this morning I cleaned it with peroxide and dried it off and put a band-aid on it. I want it to dry out but seeing how we are going to go to a little Halloween parade at my nieces school in a bit I wanted a band-aid on it so her socks and shoes don't directly rub up against it. I feel so bad because idk what else to do and we're going trick or treating later. She's too heavy to carry especially with me being pregnant I can't be lifting her and carrying her around. The shoes she's wearing seems to be helping her a bit she's walking more but ugh she woke up crying because it hurt her so bad.. 💔

Do you have a stroller? And give her Tylenol for the pain. I would keep a bandaide on it during the day and at night keep it off so it airs out. Being on the foot has a higher risk for infection.

I wouldn’t give Tylenol for a cut. Think about it. When you cut yourself, do you take pain meds? Doesn’t take make sense, right?
Take a stroller you can put her in just in case. That’s what I’m doing for my 21m old. I’m also heavily pregnant so I can’t hold mine, either.

Cuts actually take longer to heal when they dry out. Just keep the band aid on it and change it daily or whenever it starts to peel off. You can put a little Neosporin with pain relief on there to help

@cams it's not like a tiny cut it's more like a gash it hurts her and she do t want to walk.

I've been keeping it clean with peroxide that's her skin over her cut
