@sleepymommy, i only had one the first day but I took one pill that I had from when I had mastitis because I thought the infection was coming back and my fever went away

Take a hot shower and hand express the nipple to try to massage the clog out. You have to sort of get behind the nipple and push outward firmly like you’re trying force it out. Take your fingernail and sort spread the tip of your nipple, even scratch it a little like you’re trying to open the ducts. Sorry, hard to explain but I get clogged almost everyday so I have a pretty good technique down

If you are allowed baths at this point, what I did was take a hot bath, lay back, and keep a hot washcloth over my breast. After a while I took my manual pump and worked away on it. It worked! There was some blood, but RELIEF! I used a nipple shield on that one until I was recovered.

Massage the spot before during and after nursing/pumping. Go braless. Hand express on all fours. Also I’ve heard about taking Lecithin, google it. It is supposed to thin the fatty milk so it’s less sticky and will come out.

Have you tried an electric massager? One that has a much different purpose even 😆. They have enough force to help things move along.

For really big ones it can take a few days! Put a heat pack on the area then nurse as much as possible while massaging the clog

Feeding often and for me hot showers and going braless helped

Warm massages

Try getting down on all fours and hand express. Sometimes that works better than a pump.
