Mines never came out and I still went into labor my water never broke either and I was in active labor I lost my plug hrs into active labor and they broke my water when I was 10cm cause it wouldn’t break on its own and it was time to push

Mine could have been missed so easily if didn't develop a weird habit of wiping and checking every time I went to the bathroom. It ended up looking like a thick mucus snot with a little tinge of blood. It was 3 week before due date

@kambam, what does 35/37w mean

You may not even notice it like others do. I was dilated from 35/36w but never saw anything.

You have to start dilating for the mucus plug to fall out. The mucus plug has to come out.
