@db413 lol right what doctor wouldn't give out meds that's messed up labor is so painful I didn't think it was gunna be bad in till I went threw it

@db413, I will get my epidural but he doesn’t like to give both

@heather3427, that sounds bogus! What dr is going to refuse you meds!

@jenny955, they almost had to use the vacuum to get him out because I wasn’t pushing hard enough.

@heather3427 they were gunna give me morphine and I was like no just give me the epidural

@db413, my doctor doesn’t like to give iv pain meds!! I had back labor with my daughter and they gave me stadoll for it but I have a new doctor since mine retired :(! And this one won’t give iv pain meds at all!

I was dilated to 3 cm when I went in. Having consistent contractions but couldn’t feel them. Got iv of pitocin about 2 hours later my water broke. A rush of emotions and feelings about my body. I felt sick. I was feeling the contractions. Constantly felt like I had to go to the bathroom. Took a bath. Threw up. Finally got iv pain killers and the epidural. Around 1 am I started pushing. Pushed for 3 hours.

@jenny955, well with my daughter my water broke at home and I didn’t feel a single contraction at all during my entire labor! So I’m kinda nervous! This pregnancy is completely different (all of them are) and I know the labor will be completely different as well! But I’m hoping for the best!

@heather3427 I didnt wanna be induced but I was on his due date and he was born the next day I had a bad experience my contractions were so bad I puked twice then when I finally got the epidural that worked very well but I didn't wanna lay in the bed anymore I wanted to walk but couldn't bc I was numb. So they put me in different positions but still wasn't good enough then during the ended my pain came back I had the button to get more med but wore off still so they gave me more in my back. Then when I was pushing his arm got stuck he lost oxygen then was in NICU for a week.

@jenny955, I was dilated to a 3 on my last appointment which was Monday (the 22nd)! Been having contractions off and on but none that are consistent!! So I’m curious is all!

They gave me the balloon first I went from 1 cm to 5cm in 2 hours then got my epidural but after that took a long time to finally start pushing I was in labor for 24 hours
